Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) at Niseko Winter Music Festival

The famous Niseko ski resort in Hokkaido will be hosting a new winter music festival initiated by the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO).

Every night from the 15 -17 January, 2010 there will be concerts in halls adjacent to the ski fields. Richard Tognetti and the members of the ACO will play a popular classical program of The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4, and some tango pieces by Astor Piazzola.

A local taiko drumming group, the Kutchan Taiko Preservation Society, and the well-known harpist Yoshino Naoko will join the orchestra in performance.
