World Quilt Carnival Nagoya Japan 2005

The World Quilt Carnival Nagoya will be held in the city of Nagoya in Aichi prefecture. This large-scale international quilt festival is expected to attract quilters from all over the world, as well as focusing increased attention on Aichi prefecture as a site of the Aichi Expo 2005. A variety of quilts from local groups and associations from 21 nations including Australia, Europe, Asia and the Americas will be exhibited. There will also be high quality quilts from the world quilt contest on display. The Quilters' Guild of NSW Inc. will participate from Sydney.
