Video installation & performance "public=un+public"

13 April 2005 - 29 May 2005

ff Nibroll + Jo Lloyd & Shio Otani

The Off Nibroll is a new unit by Mikuni Yanaihara and Keisuke Takahashi who are members of Nibroll, one of the most inventive dance groups in Japan. public=un+public is its first exhibition and performance with Australian artists conducted via a collaborative residency for one and a half months at BankART 1929 in Yokohama. Via the media of video projection and body, this project aims to address the disparity between bodies that different space creates. The production will be touring to Melbourne and New York this year.

Public=un+Public is a Neon Rising project, an Asialink Japan Dance Initiative funded by the Australia Council, the Federal Government's arts funding and advisory body and Arts Victoria.
